Following is the transcript of remarks by the Secretary for Food and Health, Dr Ko Wing-man, today (December 26):

Reporter: What is the Government doing to investigate the recent deaths of pregnant women in public hospital?

Secretary for Food and Health: I am very concerned about the maternal deaths in one of the public hospitals of the Hospital Authority (HA). I have already requested the HA to submit all these investigation reports to the Food and Health Bureau and I will personally go through these reports to make sure that the HA will, according to the findings of these reports, take necessary precautions and remedial measures.
