SFH on "Occupy Central" movement

Following is the transcript of remarks made by the Secretary for Food and Health, Dr Ko Wing-man, after attending a public function this morning (October 19):

I am very concerned about the recent direction of development of the "Occupy Central" movement, especially there seems to be evidence pointing to purposeful violence and attacks in Mong Kok. As the Government has already made arrangement to have dialogue with the students in the hope of resolving the situation, I would appeal here again to the protesters that it would be counter-productive to resort to violence again at this particular time point. I am in particular worried about the casualties that may result.
