SFH to visit Beijing

The Secretary for Food and Health, Dr York Chow, today (December 5) left for Beijing to meet senior officials of the Ministry of Commerce and the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine to discuss the importation of chilled beef.

Accompanying Dr Chow on the visit will be the Permanent Secretary for Food and Health (Food), Mrs Marion Lai; the Director of Food and Environmental Hygiene, Mr Clement Leung; and the Controller of the Centre for Food Safety, Dr Constance Chan.

Dr Chow will return to Hong Kong on Tuesday night (December 7).
