SFH on testing result of turtle jelly
Following is the transcript of remarks made by the Secretary for
Food and Health, Dr Ko Wing-man, after attending a public function
this morning (September 18):
Reporter: What is the testing result of turtle jelly and what will
the Government do next?
Secretary for Food and Health: The Centre for Food Safety has
examined the microbiological aspect of the specimen of the turtle
jelly obtained from the company concerned. It was found that the
total bacterial count was below the legal limit.
