Appointments to Health and Medical Development Advisory Committee
The Government announced today (October 21) the appointment
of Dr Lam Ching-choi to the Health and Medical Development
Advisory Committee and the re-appointment of 14 serving
non-official members. The appointments will take effect from
November 1, 2016 for a term of two years.
Dr Lam is the Chief Executive Officer of the Haven of Hope
Christian Service. He is dedicated to enhancing elderly
welfare and improving long-term care services for the
elderly. He is also currently the Chairman of the Elderly
Commission and the Community Investment and Inclusion Fund
Committee, and a member of the Hong Kong Council for
Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications and
the Land and Development Advisory Committee.
The Secretary for Food and Health, Dr Ko Wing-man, thanked
the 14 non-official members for accepting their
re-appointments and welcomed Dr Lam to the Committee.
