SFH on Medical Council reform

Following is the transcript of remarks made by the Secretary for Food and Health, Dr Ko Wing-man, after attending a public function today (January 8):

Reporter: (About the reform of the Medical Council of Hong Kong.)

Secretary for Food and Health: The Administration will strive to introduce the bill for the amendment of the Medical Registration Ordinance in the first quarter so as to allow sufficient time for the Legislative Council to examine the bill and hopefully pass it within this legislative term.
