SFH on powdered formula supply

Following is the transcript of remarks made by the Secretary for Food and Health, Dr Ko Wing-man, after attending a public function today (October 30):

Reporter: Do you mind repeating what you said about milk powder and shortages and whether the Government will withdraw (the export restriction)?

Secretary for Food and Health: I would like to reiterate that the restriction on export of powdered formula remains in force in Hong Kong. We would be vigilant in monitoring the supply situation in the market. At the present moment, there is no intention nor sufficient evidence for us to consider removing the export restriction.
