Community forums to gauge views on second stage public consultation on healthcare reform
The Food and Health Bureau (FHB) will hold a public forum on November 30 and
December 8 respectively to collect public views on the second stage public
consultation on healthcare reform.
Both forums will be conducted in Cantonese. Details are as follows:

Venue: Auditorium, eighth floor, Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups
Building, 21 Pak Fuk Road, North Point, Hong Kong. (Another entrance is next
to Exit C of the Quarry Bay MTR Station)
Members of the public are welcome to join the forums. Admission tickets are
available on a first-come,first-served basis at the District Offices of the
Home Affairs Department, or through the hotline on 2973 8154 during office
hours.
The FHB released the consultation document entitled "My Health My Choice" on
October 6, under which a government-regulated, voluntary Health Protection
Scheme (HPS), aiming at enhancing the long-term sustainability of the
healthcare system, was proposed for public consultation over a period of
three months.
The consultation exercise will last until January 7, 2011. More information
on the HPS can be found on the Healthcare Reform Second Stage Public
Consultation website (www.MyHealthMyChoice.gov.hk).
