Press Statement by SFH on appointment of Chief Executive of Hospital Authority

The Secretary for Food and Health, Dr York Chow, welcomed the appointment of Dr Leung Pak-yin as Chief Executive of the Hospital Authority (HA) today (November 4).

Congratulating Dr Leung on his appointment, Dr Chow said: "Dr Leung has rich experience in public health management and proven leadership and management skills. I am confident that Dr Leung will ably lead the Authority to meet the challenges ahead.

"We are sure that we will continue our good working relationship with the HA under the leadership of Dr Leung.

"We will work hand in hand with the HA chairman and the newly appointed Chief Executive to provide quality medical services to the community and take forward the healthcare reform initiatives in the years ahead."
