SFH deeply concerned about scald incident involving a baby boy
The Secretary for Food and Health, Dr York Chow, today (April 9) expressed
deep concern about an incident in which a baby boy was scalded in a bath at
the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit of Princess Margaret Hospital.
Dr Chow expressed his deep regret at the incident and has asked the Hospital
Authority (HA) to conduct a thorough and prompt investigation into the
incident.
The HA has been asked to give an explanation to the parents of the boy and
to prevent similar incidents from happening again.
