SFH expresses concerns about mis-identification of two babies at QEH
The Secretary for Food and Health, Dr York Chow, said today (August 17) that
he was very concerned about the incident of mis-identification of two babies
at Queen Elizabeth Hospital. He considered that such an incident should not
occur.
"I have asked the Hospital Authority to investigate into the case
immediately and submit a report to the bureau. The Hospital Authority will
form an investigation panel to study the case. If there are any negligence
or mistakes involved, the authority should explain to the public as soon as
possible and take improvement measures to prevent the recurrence of such
incidents," Dr Chow said.
