SFH expresses concerns on Caritas Medical Centre incident

The Secretary for Food and Health, Dr York Chow, today (December 21) said he was very concerned about the handling of a person collapse case outside the hospital by Caritas Medical Centre yesterday (December 20). He also expressed his condolences to the family of the deceased man.

"I have instructed the Hospital Authority to review the incident and relevant issues, including the handling procedures and guidelines of public seeking assistance by hospitals as well as emergency equipment and training, and to submit its report and recommendations to the Food and Health Bureau," Dr Chow said.
