HWFB's statement on health care financing reports

In response to media enquiries, a spokesman for the Health, Welfare and Food Bureau today (May 23) refuted that recent reports on health care financing proposals originated from government sources.

The Health and Medical Development Advisory Committee is still exploring different possible options for health care reform including financing arrangements. There is no concrete proposal for the time being, the spokesman added.
