SHWF to attend World Health Assembly

The Secretary for Health, Welfare and Food, Dr York Chow, will attend the World Health Organisation's "60th World Health Assembly" in Geneva, Switzerland, on May 14.

Leaving today (May 8), Dr Chow will first pay duty visits to the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany to learn about the food safety control regime of these countries as well as their experience in implementing health care reform.

He will return to Hong Kong on May 15.
