SHWF shares Hong Kong's experience at New Zealand conference
The Secretary for Health, Welfare and Food, Dr Yeoh Eng-kiong, will leave tonight (September 28) for a four-day visit to New Zealand to share the experience on SARS (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome) at an international conference and receive an award of Honorary Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators.
Dr Yeoh will attend a joint meeting of the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators and the New Zealand Institute of Health Management entitled "Showcasing New Zealand Innvoations From Isolation" in Rotorua between September 29 and October 1.
He will be a keynote speaker, sharing with health leaders in the region Hong Kong's experience in fighting against the SARS epidemic.
On September 30, Dr Yeoh will receive an award of Honorary Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators.
He will return to Hong Kong on Saturday (October 2).
