SHWF saddened by the death of a health care assistant

The Secretary for Health, Welfare and Food, Dr Yeoh Eng-kiong, was saddened by the death of a health care assistant of the United Christian Hospital due to severe acute respiratory syndrome today (May 27).

" I am deeply sorry for the loss of a dedicated health care staff and wish to convey my heartfelt appreciation for her commitment to patient services," Dr Yeoh said.

"My deepest condolences go to her family," he said.
