The Secretary for Food and Health, Professor Sophia Chan (fifteenth right), today (January 16) convened the second Steering Committee meeting in accordance with the Serious Response Level under the Preparedness and Response Plan for Novel Infectious Disease of Public Health Significance to assess the risk and review the arrangement of prevention and control measures with a view to being prepared to cope with the current public health challenge.
